Drawing on experience and long-standing values, in year 2000 Susanna and Maddalena set about creating Agricola I Fabbri. The name of the farm is a reminder of the blacksmith's forge in the village which overlooks the vineyards, for several centuries the Grassi family's second line of business after farming.

With Agricola I Fabbri the Grassi sisters wish to bring to the knowledge of a public of connoisseurs the superb quality of their red wines, fruit of 9 hectares of specialized DOCG vineyards – part of which on rich historic terraces – and their high quality oil, fruit of 2 hectares of olive groves, situated 550 metres above the sea.
